Inspire Clean Energy Ranks #4 Among Independent Solar O&M Providers in APeC
Recognised as the #11 overall solar PV O&M service provider in Asia Pacific excluding China, with 1,513 MWdc under O&M at the end of 2025.
A journey that began with a single 100 kWp solar site in 2015 has reached a significant new milestone. Inspire Clean Energy (ICE), an independent solar PV asset management and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) company, has been ranked #4 among Independent Service Providers (ISPs) and #11 overall among solar PV O&M service providers in Asia Pacific excluding China (APeC) in Wood Mackenzie's Global Solar PV O&M Service Provider Dynamics 2026 report.
#11 Overall in APeC • 1,513 MWdc under O&M • One decade of progress.
From 100 kWp to 1.5+ GW
What started with one 100 kWp site in 2015 has grown to more than 1.5 GW of solar assets across eight states in India. This growth has been built through consistent field execution, long-term customer relationships, strong operational teams and continued investment in remote monitoring, data analytics and automation.
As Anandaraj Rajakumar, Co-Founder & CEO of Inspire Clean Energy, puts it:
"Ranking fourth among independent O&M providers in Asia Pacific is the outcome of ten years of groundwork. Our growth has been laminar, not turbulent, from a single 100 kWp site in 2015 to over 1.5 GW across eight states today, built one site, one client and one team at a time."
For ICE, this recognition represents more than a position on a global ranking. It reflects the trust placed in the company to manage critical solar assets and support reliable generation over the long term.
A Growing Solar O&M Market
According to Wood Mackenzie, India's assessed solar PV O&M market reached 47.2 GWdc at the end of 2025, growing by 14.2 GWdc, or 43%, year on year. India is now the second-largest national solar PV O&M market globally after the United States.
As the installed solar base continues to grow, plant availability, preventive maintenance, remote monitoring and lifecycle performance are becoming increasingly important for asset owners and investors.
Combining Field Expertise With Technology
At Inspire Clean Energy, solar O&M goes beyond routine maintenance. ICE combines on-ground engineering and technical teams with centralised remote monitoring, data analytics, software and automation tools to provide greater visibility into asset performance and support timely action.
This integrated approach helps solar asset owners monitor plant performance, identify recurring issues, coordinate field activities and maintain operational reliability across the asset lifecycle. The company's focus remains clear: protect generation, improve reliability and support stronger long-term solar asset performance.
Recognised by the Solar Industry
The milestone has also received attention from leading renewable energy publications. SolarQuarter highlighted ICE's #4 position among independent solar O&M service providers and #11 overall in APeC, based on the company's 1,513 MWdc portfolio.
Mercom India has also highlighted the broader growth of the global solar O&M market and identified Inspire Clean Energy among the leading solar project O&M service providers in India for 2025.
We sincerely thank both publications for recognising and sharing this milestone with the renewable energy community.
This recognition would not have been possible without the continued trust of our customers, partners and industry stakeholders.
Most importantly, we thank every member of the Inspire Clean Energy team. From engineers and technicians working across project sites to monitoring, analytics, operations and support teams, this achievement is the result of collective effort and consistent commitment.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Wood Mackenzie for the recognition and to Mercom India and SolarQuarter for bringing this milestone to the wider solar industry.
From 100 kWp in 2015 to 1,513 MWdc under O&M at the end of 2025, the journey reflects what can be built through consistency, trust and disciplined execution.
As the solar industry continues to grow, Inspire Clean Energy remains committed to supporting reliable solar assets through strong O&M, asset management, remote monitoring and technology-led operations.
